Meet Shae
10 + years Beauty Industry Experience
Hi, I’m Shaemain “Shae” Cordner, a professional esthetician and the founder of Taja Skin Loft, a private facial studio in Toronto dedicated to helping women, especially those with melanin-rich skin, feel deeply confident in their natural beauty.
With more than six years of professional experience, I specialize in custom facials, personalized skincare education, and a holistic approach that nurtures long-term skin health. My work centers on restoring balance and glow through care that’s gentle, effective, and thoughtfully tailored to your unique skin.
At Taja Skin Loft, every client is seen, heard, and supported. It’s more than a studio—it’s your private sanctuary to pause, reset, and reconnect with your skin and achieve optimal skin health.

My Journey
My love for skincare began back in 2014, when I started as an independent beauty consultant. That experience sparked a passion for helping women feel empowered through skincare education. Pursuing that passion, I went on to earn my Esthetician and Spa Management Diploma from Humber College in Toronto, Ontario.
Through working closely with diverse clients, I saw a real need for skincare that honoured the unique concerns of melanin-rich skin—like hyperpigmentation, sensitivity, and uneven tone. That realization became the heart of Taja Skin Loft.
How I Support You
I combine expertise, education, and empathy in every treatment. My approach is grounded in:
Education: I teach you how to understand and care for your skin confidently.
Safety and Intention: Treatments are gentle, effective, and tailored to your skin’s long-term wellbeing.
Consistency: I help you build healthy, lasting skincare habits that support visible transformation.
Here, your skin is never rushed, over-treated, or overlooked. You receive care that feels personal, supportive, and intentional—because confidence begins with feeling seen in your own skin.
